Daniel David "Dan" Rostenkowski (1928-2010) was a U.S. Representative from Illinois from 1959 to 1995 who served as chairman of several key committees in Congress. Following a scandal involving the House of Representatives Post Office, he pled guilty to reduced charges of mail fraud in 1996 and served 17 months in prison before receiving a presidential pardon. Parts 1-8 were released in June 2011. Parts 9-13 were released in August 2011. Parts 14-19 were added on 8/30/2011. Parts 20-27 were added on 10/4/2011

Daniel K. Inouye (1924-2012) was a long serving U.S. Senator from the state of Hawaii. This newly released material consists of FBI files ranging from 1959 to 2006. The bulk of the material concerns investigations of threats made against Senator Inouye and others, but also includes FBI correspondence/contacts with the Senator and several other investigations related to him.

Daniel Patrick Moynihan (1927-2003) was a sociologist and long serving U.S. Senator and academic. This release consists of references to Moynihan in FBI files between 1968 and 1999. They include materials relating to investigations into a number of threats made against Moynihan and references to background investigations of Moynihan for appointment to high government positions.

Daniel Schorr (1916-2010) was a journalist who worked for CBS, CNN, and most recently, National Public Radio. He was known for his work as a foreign correspondent in the Soviet Union. This release consists of material from two files covering a "Foreign Agents Registration Act" investigation initiated during World War II, when Schorr took a job as a foreign correspondent for a Dutch news service, as well as a special inquiry investigation of Schorr requested by the Nixon administration. The special inquiry investigation ended as soon as the Bureau realized that it had been requested for political reasons.
