Mickey Mantle
Mickey Charles Mantle (1931-1995) was a well known professional baseball player. This release (previously made, but now posted to the FBI Vault) consists of a short investigation in 1960 into a threatening letter sent to Mantle. Several later documents were added to this file, including a records check asked for by the White House in 1969 that summarizes the results of FBI contacts with, and information on, Mantle. This release consists of 29 pages; some of the materials have been redacted to protect personal privacy.
