Judith Coplon

Judith Coplon (1921 to 2011) was a spy for the Soviet Union who worked in the U.S. Department of Justice. She was convicted of espionage and conspiracy in 1949, but both verdicts were overturned due to FBI errors in gathering evidence. This release consists of materials from the FBI case file on Coplon between 1948 and 1949.
