Jesse Helms

Jesse Alexander Helms, Jr. (1921-2008) served as a U.S. senator from North Carolina from 1973 to 2003. This release consists mainly of FBI investigations into threats against Helms. There is also material from other types of files concerning him. These materials range from 1971 to 1999.
